Lasers are widely used in devices for diagnostic and measurement. Koiné is active in this field and, besides having a production line of sensors for gas measurement, it carries out a continuous activity of research & development of new measuring devices.
Gases Detection
Laser sensors, entirely manufactured in our laboratories, allow real-time monitoring of the concentration of gases such as CO, CO2, NOx, HCl, HF, CH4, NH3, H2S, C2H2, O2. With a sensitivity of up to 100 ppb / m, and a response time equal to the fraction of a second, our tools find application both in the field of scientific research and in the industrial field.
Hyperbaric chambers monitoring
The hyperbaric chambers are hard shelled pressure vessels used extensively, however, they are still a dangerous instrument: used, however, remain a dangerous instrument:The high concentration of oxygen promotes combustion processes with, sometimes, catastrophic results. The control system proposed is a laser sensor that continuously measures the concentration of oxygen, without chemical reagents but with high accuracy.
Fine dusts detection PM10
SLP is a project for the creation of a class of laser sensors for measurement of fine dusts (PM10, PM2.5 PM1). The primary objective is to achieve a robust but low cost device. This tool coupled with mechanical filters and thanks to the laser scattering techniques (Optical Particle Counter), can give a real-time measurement of the concentration of dust in the environment.
